As a general rule, use only wool detergent and wash the products only by hand. Do not use fabric softener. Do not leave your product in water or soak it for too long. Very important: Only wash cold, i.e. below 30°C. At high temperatures, alpaca fibre behaves in a similar way to hair over a source of heat: it contracts and curls. Your garment may therefore felt and shrink if washed too warm. Spin-drying should also be avoided at all costs, as this initiates the felting process. After washing, do not wring out the garment, but lay it out flat to dry. The surface of a clothes drying rack is suitable for this purpose. Ideally, lay a dry terry towel underneath. We do not recommend hanging the product. This prevents the structure from warping and unsightly creases from forming. Avoid drying in the sun or on the radiator.
