The real Rasputin stems from the Accoyo flock in Peru and is the son of the world-renowned stallone Shere Khan. Lamas and alpacas are so-called new world camelids. Their homeland are the South American Andes. Still today they live there together with their ancestors the vicunas and guanacos in the wild. The alapca fiber is silky and shiny and compared to sheep wool significantly softer. Moreover it is not only of high quality but also apt for allergic persons since the mat contains hardly any lanoline.
