This 1-ply alpaca knit wool made of alpaca blend yarn for needle 3 is distinguished by its uncomparable fluffiness. Reinforced by a small amount of synthetic fibre you have a thin soft knitting yarn which despite of its fineness remains stable and resilient. In regard to its texture it is similar to mohair yarn. It has a quite high tuft which generates a fluffy appearance and provides additional warmth.

Get inspired by our FLUFFY alpaca yarn: the particularly cuddly wearing comfort, optical properties such as the bulky texture and technical advantages such as moisture regulation speak for themselves. Because: As a hollow fibre alpaca has temperature compensating properties and a high insulating force. Since the fleece - other than wool - contains hardly any lanoline it is particularly appreciated by allergic persons. Thanks to its notedly smooth fibre surface alpaca is hardly prone to pilling and felting.

APU KUNTUR alpaca wool is manufactured in Peru under strict human-ecologial requirements. Only the finest fibres comply with our high quality standards and are used in our yarns.
This can be seen - and this can be felt with knitting. Just try it yourself!

Natural fibre yarns may sometimes tend to bleed - this means that the yarn has remaining pigments of dyeing, which can detach while knitting or with first laundry. If this be the case, then it occurs predominantly with darker or stronger colours. We suggest with the first laundry, to wash the yarn or the knitted item separately. Subsequently the bleeding should stop.

All available colours:
- Ecru
